Traverse City Central is excited to introduce Casey Christensen as our new Varsity Boys Tennis Coach. Coach Christensen comes to Central from Muskegon Catholic Central where he has served as the Athletic Director and Varsity Girls Tennis Coach for the past six years. He has also coached at West Chicago High School (IL), St. Patrick High School (IL), and Palatine High School (IL). The hiring committee was extremely impressed by his vision for the boys tennis program, his ability to develop meaningful relationships with kids, and his cutting edge knowledge of tennis. 

"Tennis is the ultimate competitor's sport," says Christensen. "I love the mental aspect of the game and thinking my way through a match. My high school coaches were role models to me, and I try every day to make the same positive impact on my players." 

"I'm excited to be at Central because of the tradition and culture of the athletics program," he added. "I can't wait to get started with the team and to try to help the players in the best possible position to accomplish their goals."
