Coach Jen Dutmers was a three sport athlete at West Ottawa High School in Holland, MI. After high school, she went to Western Michigan University to play volleyball, but as a junior left volleyball to play basketball for the Broncos, and played for 3 years. 

Coach Dutmers has coached girls LEAP and travel basketball, and most recently coached Middle School boys LEAP and travel working with the Riptide organization. 

Her coaching mentors include Don Miller, Pat Kolody and Matt Bourdo. 

In the winter of 2018, working with the Children's Advocacy Center, Coach Dutmers started SafeTeam - a sexual abuse prevention training program focused on educating athletes, coaches and parents about sexual abuse. 

Jen is married to Tim Dutmers. Their daughter, Emma, attends Hope College and plays soccer for the Flying Dutch. Their son JJ is a Freshman at Central and is a 3-sport athlete participating in soccer, basketball and baseball. He is also involved in FCA and will be working with Big Brothers starting this winter.
