Sharon Vreeland
Head Coach
Boys/Girls Varsity Bowling
Coach Vreeland joined the TCC Varsity Bowling program in the 2011-12 season, and has been the head coach since the 2016-17 season. Her stepchildren, Christian and Kaitlyn, were both talented Trojan bowlers, and Sharon had the honor of coaching Katie during her senior year.
Sharon started league bowling in 1994. Her highest league average is a 195, she has logged three 700+ point three game series and her highest single game score is 289. She won the singles and all-events competitions in the 2016 Women's City Tournament.
Sharon is a member of the Traverse City USBC Bowling Association Board of Directors, a Bronze-level USBC Certified Coach, and maintains USBC Registered Volunteer status (required for adults working with USBC youth bowlers and includes anti-abuse training and a national background check).
