Congratulations to our 2020 Trojan wrestlers who competed at the MHSAA wrestling state finals at Ford Field this past weekend. Freshman Dutch Ballan and Remy Cotton and Senior Damien Ballan earned All-State honors by each placing 7th.

Dutch Ballan competed at 103 lbs going 3-2 with a pin in his finals match. Dutch ended the season with a 49-6 record setting the school record for consecutive wins at 44.

Remy Cotton wrestled at 160 lbs going 3-2 in a very competitive weight class as one of the youngest placers at the Division 1 level in a weigh class above 160 lbs in almost 15 years. Remy finishes the season with a 44-10 record.

Senior Damien Ballan also with a 3-2 record and 7th place finishes his season with a 50-6 record giving him a total of 170 career wins. Damien is 2x All-State wrestler.
