7 Trojans advance to Individual Regionals
The TC Central wrestling team advanced 7 individuals to the Regional tournament for placing at Districts this past weekend. Undefeated sophomore Captain Remy Cotton was the District Champion at 189 lbs. Ethan Ramsey placed 2nd at 152 lbs, while Gabe Weaver (130 lbs), Kadin Garza (135 lbs), and Austin Bills (171 lbs) all placed 3rd. Also advancing by placing 4th at districts were Justice Rector and John Lalonde, at 145 lbs and 160 lbs, respectively.
The grapplers will be competing this Saturday March 27th at Davison High School where the top 4 placers at each weight will qualify for the individual state finals held at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo on April 3rd.
