Trojans take over the Titans in a 3-1 win. Central came out swinging. For the second time this year TCC beat West, and this time it was on their home court in the district semi finals.
Varsity's offense was led by Junior OH Emma Turnquist with 14 kills quickly followed by Captain Maggie McCrary with 12. These two leaders alone beat West's total kills (21). When adding in additional kills by Jordan Burnham and Grace Lord, the Trojans offense demolished the court.
The offense couldn't be strong without a tough defensive line. Olivia Fiebing lead the back row with 26 of the team's impressive 66 digs.
The Trojans brought the whole package last night to the semi's and plan to do it again tonight at Petoskey where they take on Marquette for the District Championship at 6pm.
