GRAND HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL: 20
The Freshman girls basketball team opened their season against Grand Haven with a convincing 40-20 win. The tone was established early as the team brought agressiveness and enthusiasm on defense. Cate Heethuis led the team with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Brooke Royston compiled 4 assists. Ashlen Hill also had 6 steals and Sophie Simon added 3 blocks. This was a great team win!
