The Trojan Wrestlers places 2nd out of 40 teams at the Northern Michigan Championships this past weekend with two wrestlers claiming individual crowns. Dutch Ballan was the champ at 103lbs with a technique fall over the division 2 2nd ranked wrestler in the state. Damien Ballan claimed the 135 lb championship over returning all-state wrestler from Gaylord. Remy Cotton was the runner up falling in the finals narrowly to a 2x all-State wrestler and Austin Bills was the runner up at 171 lbs. Gabe weaver placed 3rd going 3-1, Remy Soper and Kadin Crosley took 4th. Ethan Ramsay placed 7th in a very tough 140 lb weight class. Great tournament Trojans! The final regular season meet is this Wednesday at home against Manton for senior night starting at 5:00pm. Come show your support!!
