The Trojan wrestlers team portion of the season came to an end this Wednesday after falling in the District final to a tough Grand Haven team. In the Pre-District match the Trojans defeated host school Muskegon Mona-Shores 48-15 before falling to Grand Haven in final 61-15.
The wrestlers competed well in the key match-up weight classes, but the momentum had shifted to the Grand Haven grapplers.
Winning matches on the night for the Central High Trojans were Dutch Ballan, Gabe Weaver, Ethan Ramsay, Damien Ballan, Remy Cotton, Matt Ochoa, Austin Bills, Kadin Crosley, and Remy Soper.
Congratulations Trojans on a great team dual season with a final record of 20-10.
The wrestlers will now compete this Saturday in the Individual District tournament at Grand Haven for the first round of the State Tournament.
