Big day for Trojan wrestling! The Trojans traveled to Linden this Friday and dropped a close dual 39-33. Dutch Ballan at the big victory pinning D2 #3 ranked Bryce Shingleton. Also winning matches were Jesus Montelongo, Gabe Weaver, Remy Cotton, and Remy Soper.

Saturday the Trojans traveled to Novi to dual Detroit Catholic Central and Rockford. The Trojans had a lot of hard fought battles but came up short falling to DCC 60-9 and Rockford 50-18.

Remy Cotton went 2-0 on the day with a 6-5 win over returning state champ and nationally ranked Manny Rojas of DCC!

Austin Bills posted a 2-0 record with 2 D1 state ranked wins over #6 ranked Cam Adam’s from DCC and #7 Moses Bosscher from Rockford.

Also winning matches on the day were Dutch Ballan, Brady Slocum, Kadin Garza, and Remington Soper.

The Trojans are back in action next week with a Senior night Home dual on Wednesday hosting Cadillac, Alpena, and TC West.

Saturday, 2/20, the Trojans will travel to Holt to dual state ranked #7 Holt, D2 #5 Jackson Northwest, and D2 #10 Monroe Jefferson.
