2020 Regionals at Fairlanes, Grandville

Day 1 - Team Event

TCC Bowling had a pretty good day on the lanes for regionals!

The gentlemen placed 7th in a field of 15 boys teams...in the top half and only about 200 pins off the cut. Two of their team games were 956 and 904. Junior Brad Earnest led the team in the regular games with a 582 series (208, 168, 206), followed closely by Senior Wyatt Beckstead 580 series (204, 182, 194). Adding big games were David Huver (198, 166, 172, 536 series), freshman Brian Wilkinson (211), and sophomore Tyler Stoessel (177). Nice shooting!

The ladies finished 9th in a field of 13, an improvement over last year. They reached a season high (and several year high) second Baker game score of 206! All of their team games were solidly over 700 (742, 798, and 743), and throughout the day they demonstrated consistency at an above-average performance level. Junior Ondrea Ream logged a new PR 623 3-game series, shooting 196, 227, 200...fabulous! Senior Ellen Selby added 164 and 181 games, Junior Gabby Haddix was consistently over average for the day with a 470 series (154, 146, 170), and Freshman Molly Myles had two over-average games of 129 and 131.
